SILO/HOPPER

We can supply a wide range of load cells and digital weight indicators for fitting to silos/hopper and tanks to allow their contents to be weighed. We stock pre-assembled kits of weighing components for fitting to silos/hopper and tanks of all shapes and sizes to convert them into weighing vessels with minimal modification. For larger silo/hopper weighing systems and tank weighing systems, it is important to allow for provision of testing of the silo/hopper with certified test weights in the initial design. This is critically important if the silo/hopper scales or tank scales are required to be certified for trade use. If installed externally, these scales must be fitted with a restraining system to secure the silo/hopper in strong winds. The load cell mounting hardware supplied in TECHSYS INDIA standard silo/hopper load cells kit includes integral restraints that do not affect the weighing accuracy of the silo/hopper or tank. Large silo/hopper weighing systems mounted above ground may require an additional restraining mechanism.
